While battling even villainous Surtur, Thor learns about the prophesy known as Ragnarok, the destruction of him home world, Asgard. Intent on stopping it, Thor returns to Asgard, with Surtur’s crown in tow, where he realizes Loki, disguised as their father, Odin, is now ruler. The pair venture to Earth to find Odin, who reveals to them about the evil Hela, goddess of death, who happens to be his firstborn and is bent on revenge. Upon Odin’s death, Hela returns, determined to take her place as Asgard’s rightful ruler, no matter what the cost. Thrown from the Biofrost, Thor and Loki find themselves stranded on the other end of the universe on the planet, Sakaar, which is ruled by the Grandmaster. With the help of a familiar friend in Sakaar’s Grand Champion, aka, Hulk / Bruce Banner and one of Asgard’s long lost Valkyries, Thor must race against time to save his people from Hela’s evil reign. Here are a few movie mistakes to look for while watching “Thor – Ragnarok”.

∙ Valkyrie is visiting Hulk when Thor tries to convince her to help them. When she notices him, Thor is standing near the corner of the glass shelves, in front of the bottle on the first shelf that she eventually drinks out of. But, in the farther view, Thor is standing a couple feet beyond, closer to the second set of shelves.

∙ After Hulk turns back to Bruce Banner in the Quinjet, a close-up Banner, after Thor says “I won’t hurt you”, shows his left arm is outstretched and he is then shown placing his left hand on his forehead. The scene cuts to a quick rear (over the right shoulder) view of Banner and his left arm is still outstretched.

∙ Thor and Banner are trying to make their way through the crowd on Sakaar, when Banner has green powder thrown over him. The powder sticks to Banner’s front, especially his face, white t-shirt and the lapels on his jacket. But a couple moments later, when he bumps into the creature, the green powder is mostly gone.

∙ Heimdall is trying to help the people escape from Asgard via the Biofrost. As they’re trying to cross the bridge, they encounter Hela’s dog. Heimdall takes off his cloak as he’s getting ready to fight. It’s still gone when Korg arrives and helps him up. But when Loki gets off the ship a few moments later and Heimdall tells him he saw him coming, Heimdall is now wearing his cloak again. It’s gone a few moments later when they resume fighting.

“Thor – Ragnarok” (2017) stars Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Cate Blanchett, Idris Elba, Mark Ruffalo, Jeff Goldblum, Tessa Thompson, Karl Urban, Anthony Hopkins, Benedict Cumberbatch, Taika Waititi and Clancy Brown. It runs 130 minutes and is rated PG-13 for intense sequences of sci-fi violence and action, and brief suggestive material.
